Hi, I'm Kayla Nugent, a cinematic and editorial portrait photographer and producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have a BFA in Photographic & Imaging Arts with a concentration in Advertising Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I specialize in and out of the studio.
Growing up, my parents were always behind the camera, capturing everything from family vacations and school events to my sisters and I parading in our princess costumes. As I got older, I naturally took on that role, documenting everything I could. I’ve always been drawn to working with people, and there’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing someone’s confidence light up after experiencing a photograph that captures them in a way they’ve never seen before.
I'm booking for 2026 for any of your portrait needs from graduation, editorial portraits, headshots, couples shoot, etc.! I love traveling as well and can come to you!
